The Institute of Danube Research

The Institute of Danube Research studies the macro-region where ten river states and the Black Sea littoral meet — as one connected space of policy, infrastructure and environment.

  • We produce independent analysis for administrations, parliaments and international institutions;
  • We convene researchers and practitioners around navigation, energy security, water resources and municipal capacity;
  • We publish in the languages of the basin so that findings reach the people who act on them.
