Legal
This Privacy Policy explains how the Institute of Danube Research processes personal and other data when you use the website idrbs.org.
We respect every visitor’s right to privacy. When you simply browse the site, we do not collect personal data beyond the information your browser transmits automatically.
Personal data reach us only when you send them yourself — through the contact form. That case is described in the next section.
When you send a message through the form on the Contact page, we receive the data you enter: name, e-mail address, and — if you fill them in — telephone number and organisation, together with the text of your message.
Alongside the message we record the IP address from which it was sent, the time of sending and the language of the page. This is needed to counter automated spam.
We use these data for one purpose only: to answer your enquiry. We do not pass them to third parties, do not use them for mailings and do not build profiles from them.
The legal basis is your consent, given by ticking the box next to the form. You may withdraw it at any time by writing to [email protected].
We keep the correspondence for as long as the enquiry and any related work require it, after which it is deleted.
You have the right to request access to your data, their correction or deletion. Write to [email protected] — we reply to the address you provide.
The site uses cookies to ensure it works correctly and to make it more convenient to use. Cookies may store technical information such as:
You can change your browser settings to block cookies or delete those already stored. Please note that some site features may not work correctly without them.

The site may contain links to external resources — news sites, social networks and others. We are not responsible for the privacy policies or the content of those resources.
We reserve the right to update this Policy in line with changes in legislation or in the functionality of the site. The current version is always available at this address.
